Katherine Silvester, Ph.D. – is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English. She is a rhetoric and composition scholar whom has taught and studied English language writing in the U.S., China, and Nepal. Her research focuses on pedagogic and programmatic work that will enable people to encounter diverse language backgrounds as productive resources for reading, writing, teaching, and learning in and across contexts.
