Andrew Asher- is the Assessment Librarian at Indiana University Bloomington, where he leads the libraries’ qualitative assessment programs. An ethnographer and anthropologist by vocation, he conducts research on the information processes of students and faculty, the interaction between culture and information technologies, and the meanings and practices of citizenship in Poland, Germany, and the European Union. He also serves with Planning and Administration which provides leadership in assessment, communications, and library human resources.
