Daniel J. Grundmann has specialized in the field of human resource management for more than 25 years, and worked for the City of Bloomington for 17 years, including 13 as director of Human Resources. Grundmann has led the creation and administration of compensation strategy and systems, performance appraisal and job evaluation processes, staffing and selection strategy, human resource information system acquisition and implementation, and employee training and development programs. He has extensive experience in HR legal compliance, benefits administration, policy development, and employee relations. He was involved in the negotiation of more than a dozen collective bargaining agreements with three labor unions.
