Ben Motz, Ph.D.- is a Senior Lecturer in the Psychological and Brain Sciences while also serving as the Director of Pedagogy. His research studies focus on the relationships between cognitive theories of human learning, psychological theories of student engagement, and what goes on in college classes. His interests lie in the science of human learning and memory and its translation to educational contexts, learning analytics, and student engagement.
